Your AI key powers analysis. Your market-data connection supplies prices. Set them up separately in the desktop app using your own provider accounts.
01 · AI CONNECTION
Set up an OpenAI API key.
The current development app uses OpenAI. The steps below match its Agents → Configuration screen; release controls may change.
- Open your provider account.
Sign in to the OpenAI developer platform and choose the project you want to use. Review API billing and usage settings.
- Create an API key.
Use the platform's API Keys page to create a key. Copy it when shown and keep it private.
- Open Agents → Configuration in TradeSet.
Choose an agent slot. Paste your key into that agent's API key field, and enter an available model in OpenAI model for all agents.
- Confirm the connection.
Click Confirm next to the agent. In the current preview, this checks key/model access and saves a valid key. Read the displayed result and correct any access or model error.
- Check the analysis workflow.
Only one configured agent is required. The full-response API test in Agent Chat can confirm that the model responds; this may incur provider usage charges. Use only the approved analysis app.
